For dogs under increased load (racing, agility, flyball, coursing), we recommend using MNK as an energy source. In this regard, we can recommend the oil for both internal and external use. Composition: 50% Cocos nucifera L. oleum conforming to the European Pharmacopoeia Ph. Eur. 50% Cocos nucifera L. oleum from controlled organic farming (DE-ÖKO-024). Dosage: as supplementary food for dogs weighing 15-20 kg: mix 2 g daily into the ration. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. External use for dogs and cats: rub a small amount of oil into the skin twice a day and massage in lightly. Packaging: 600 g. The content of caprylic acid C8: 0 can be a suitable supplement in the supportive treatment of yeast infections, when it participates in the elimination of lipid membranes of bacteria, viruses, molds and yeasts, thereby acting as a natural antibiotic. Lauric acid C12:0 is also present in breast milk, it accelerates metabolism, it is important for its antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial action. Coconut oil does not contain cholesterol. The fatty acids of coconut oil have a beneficial effect on the cholesterol level in the body. 2/3 of coconut oil consists of medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs). The body processes medium-long fatty acids directly in the liver, which it uses as immediate energy, and finds its application especially during increased loads (racing, agility, flyball, coursing). The essential difference, compared to simple carbohydrates and MCTs, is that they do not affect blood glucose levels and do not increase blood insulin levels. 100% Cocos nucifera L. oleum contains approximately 90% saturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids 7.5%, polyunsaturated fatty acids 1.8%, trans-fatty acids up to 2%.
